Jack Angaran   Jack G. Angaran

Jack Angaran is a senior trial lawyer with GA who returned to private practice in 1984 after serving as a Deputy District Attorney for Washoe County, Nevada. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and received his law degree from Mercer University in Georgia in 1975. Mr. Angaran provides defense oriented advice and serves as trial counsel for professionals, employers, businesses and insurance companies in a variety of legal disputes, including business and commercial, professional liability, product liability, coverage, insurance bad faith, real estate and employment law.
 
Mr. Angaran is a past president of the Association of Defense Counsel of Nevada and served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute. He is a Master of the American Inns of Court. Mr. Angaran is past president of the Reno Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and currently serves on the National ABOTA Board of Directors. Whitney Selert   Whitney J. Selert

Whit Selert is a senior trial lawyer with Georgeson Angaran in Reno and is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law where he was the Senior Notes & Comments Editor of the U.C. Davis Law Review. Mr. Selert completed his undergraduate education magna cum laude from Brigham Young University and is a former law clerk to the Hon. Procter R. Hug, Jr., of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Selert's practice focuses exclusively on providing defense oriented consultation and representation to employers, businesses and insurance companies in the areas of employment law, commercial disputes, construction defect, premises liability and product defect litigation. Jim Georgeson is a former senior litigation attorney who now is "of counsel" with GA and devotes his practice to providing mediation and arbitration services, both privately and as part of the court appointed arbitration program. Mr. Georgeson completed his undergraduate education at the University of Nevada Reno and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. Mr. Georgeson is a former law clerk to the Hon. Jon Collins of the Nevada Supreme Court.
